Second days...
Second days...
This is how it went.. When we started to talk about going to Malta, we got this vision that we`d be working in a nursing home here. Then we waited for the information about working place from June to September.. and four days before departure we heard that we'd be working in a private hospital, St Thomas Hospital. That was a quite a shock and it made us really wonder about what will we be doing out there (don´t get this wrong, we we´re also really excited :) )?!?!!
And then... We got here and went to the Future Focus office the first morning here, 10 am as the deal was-- We found out, that the working place at the hospital was not sure. Ok. Well, after a while, we got this information that people from hospital had answered that our jobs there are ok and we should go there next morning ,get to know the place and be prepaired to work there.
And then... We went to the hospital next day, got ride from this nice man from Future Focus ,and there was this lovely lady receiving us :) Unfortunately she told us that there would be work at the hospital only for one of us :/ Then... We took a phone call to Future Focus and told what the situation was ,and the lady from the hospital talked with them also. We got to know, that all four of us will be working in a nursing home , Jasmine Nursing Home, in Smida :) Then... We got told to be at the nursing home the next day 12 am.
And now, on Thu 28th of September, we´ve been working the first day at the nursing home and the day was... hmm.. really teaching in several ways :D. We were told to change clothes and get to work at once. That´s what we did! All of us went to different floors of the nursing home, so that we saw each other only at the breaks. We were truly wondering there and quite confused :D :D :D Talking with the Maltese seniors and got to know
the residents <3
So... Tomorrow going to work again and we´ll see what the day brings us :D!!
